Jeslyn Santiago

Jeslyn Santiago is a WUSF/USF Zimmerman School digital news intern for fall 2018.  

Born in Kissimmee, Florida, Jeslyn moved to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida. She is now a Junior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in broadcast news.

Jeslyn would like to become a reporter at a major media network.  

Mote Marine Laboratory is working with Sarasota County to lease, and eventually own, 27 acres of land for a new aquarium at Nathan Benderson Park.

Susan Howarth died Wednesday at the age of 66 after battling cancer. Howarth was the fifth president and CEO of WEDU, Tampa Bay’s PBS station.
