Tallahassee’s Grace Mission at the corner of Bronough and Brevard streets is being graced with a giant mural on its eastern wall. The artist is Kollett Propst who wants the image to carry an important message about acceptance and redemption.

“It’s going to have ‘help, healing and hope’ in the middle so it conveys all of the messages. But this is right in the middle of Frenchtown and it’s a beautiful area. I don’t think a lot of people know that it’s here.”

Probst said this coming Monday (6/4), 70 children from the area will add their special artistic talents to the section of the mural nearest the ground.

“One of the reasons I wanted to bring the children in is because they’re going to be the next generation of helpers who may be able to carry on what Pastor Nichols is doing here. So hopefully one of them will be able to help somebody someday, too.”

Probst’s work now adorns a number of commercial and non-profit spaces around the Capital City.
