The 'Conservative Hurricane' - Jeb Bush, Immigration, And Looking Ahead To 2016

Wikimedia Commons

Florida Governor Rick Scott – along with former governors Jeb Bush and Bob Martinez – are calling on state lawmakers to pass a tuition break to students who entered the country illegally.

The push comes as Jeb Bush continues to defend his recent comments about immigration reform.

"They broke the law, but it's not a felony," Bush said of those who enter the country illegally. "It's an act of love, it's an act of commitment to your family."

The statements were made earlier this month during an event commemorating the 25th anniversary of George H.W. Bush's presidency.

How will the immigration debate shape the 2016 presidential race, especially on the Republican side of the aisle?
