Duval, Baker Counties Begin Early Voting In Presidential Primary

"Vote Here" sign

Early voting in Florida's presidential primary started Monday, Feb. 29, and runs through March 12 in Duval, Baker and 15 other counties.

State law lets counties get a jump on early voting before the official start on Saturday, March 5.

Early voting in Nassau County starts Friday, March 4, while early voting in Clay and St. Johns counties gets underway Saturday, March 5.

Early voting sites include public library branches and community centers. A list of times and locations can be found on each county's Supervisor of Elections website.

Florida's presidential primary is March 15, and only voters who are registered as Democrats or Republicans are allowed to cast a ballot.
