Educators Exhibiting One Spark Projects At New EdSpark Venue

A new venture designed to encourage more innovative ideas in education will make has made it's debut at One Spark 2014.

Created by Deborah Gianoulis, the president of the Schultz Center for Teaching and Leadership, EdSpark is the first themed venue to participate in the One Spark festival.

EdSpark, which is located on the second floor of the Wells Fargo building, is home to 46 education-related creators, making it the largest venue at the  festival.

Deborah Gianoulis joined Melissa Ross to talk EdSpark and discuss education issues on the First Coast.

Melissa Ross joined WJCT in 2009 with 20 years of experience in broadcasting, including stints in Cincinnati, Chicago, Orlando and Jacksonville. During her career as a television and radio news anchor and reporter, Melissa has won four regional Emmys for news and feature reporting.
WJCT News Intern Scott Harrison is a Journalism Major at Flagler College. He also reports for the college's campus news website, The Gargoyle.
