After a resounding win in the Sunshine State, Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump is getting extra support from Florida Gov. Rick Scott.

In a Facebook post Wednesday, Scott asked the Republican Party to rally behind Trump after his wins in Tuesday’s primaries.

Scott compared himself to the real estate mogul, saying when he ran for governor in 2010, he was just as much of an outsider.

Scott hinted he might back Trump earlier this year, when he stopped just short of endorsing him in a glowing op-ed for USA Today.

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has also endorsed Trump, which has drawn criticism for her decision not to investigate claims of fraud at Trump University in Florida.

As the Miami Herald reports, the Trump Foundation contributed $25,000 to Bondi's reelection effort in 2014.
