A record number of Jaguars football fans have registered for the annual Painting of the Paw Prints from the Main Street Bridge to TIAA Bank Field.
The pre-season event is set for first thing Saturday morning.
Day-of registration starts at 7:15 a.m. at Lot K next to the stadium.
City Council President Aaron Bowman will then paint the first of more than 300 Jaguar paw prints beginning at 7:45 a.m. on Gator Bowl Boulevard.
The JAX Chamber-sponsored event will feature Jaxon de Ville, the ROAR of the Jaguars cheerleaders and the team’s drum line.
Plus, there’ll be a free party at the stadium at 9:30 a.m., after the painting is completed.
