Jacksonville Landing Announces Its Inaugural Seafood And Jazz Festival This Weekend

Although it’s not officially part of this weekend’s Jacksonville Jazz Festival, The Landing has plenty of live  music planned for the holiday weekend.

The downtown riverfront attraction has announced its inaugural Seafood and Jazz Festival from Friday, May 25 to Sunday, May 27.

The music lineup on the Sleiman Riverfront Stage will be as follows:

Friday, May 25

5 – 9:30 p.m.  Marcus Click Band

9:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. The Katz Downstairz Takeover

Saturday, May 26

2 – 5 p.m.  Smokestack

5:30 – 7:30 p.m.  John Parker Urban Music and Friends

8 – 10 p.m.  Groove Coalition

10 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. Stank Sauce

Sunday, May 27

2 – 4 p.m.  Noteworthy

4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Catch the Groove

7 – 9 p.m. Those Guys Jazz

9:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. Seven Street

Landing restaurants will be offering seafood specials and food vendors and trucks will be set up in front of the Landing through Sunday.

Then on Monday, The Landing will host its Memorial Day Meltdown with music starting at 11 a.m.

Monday’s line-up will be: Saliva along with guests Farewell to Fear, Bleeding in Stereo, Gold Frankincense and Myrrh, The Knowing Within, A Matter of Honor, Blood Bath & Beyond, Burden Affinity, Koup d’E Tat, Stayne Thee Angel, Drew Fahlbusch and Byron Kyle.

All the performances are free and will be held rain or shine, according to the Landing.
