The 2014 governor's race and crime in Jacksonville are making headlines this week.

The results, released in the final week of a deadlocked campaign before Tuesday's election, show Crist with 43 percent of the vote and Scott with 40 percent - a statistical dead heat.

Libertarian candidate Adrian Wyllie polled at 8 percent of the vote.

Additional topics include a recent swell in violent crime in Jacksonville, and reported settlement agreements between anti-billboard groups and outdoor advertising companies.
