Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan, KYN and the 2014 governor's race are making headlines this week.

Khan announced Tuesday that his financial firm Stache Investments was pulling backing from KYN, the business accelerator group with ties to One Spark that aimed to help some startups and entrepreneurs participating in the crowdfunding festival.

A spokesperson for Khan said he was short-changed when it came to his $1.1 million investment in the incubator, and that the money was not being allocated to the startup businesses he intended.

Meanwhile, One Spark founder Elton Rivas said the startup accelerator was always open with Khan and disputes the allegations his investment was mismanaged.

Joining us on our regular Friday roundtable to discuss this and other stories from the week was our panel of local journalists:

Other topics include a new UNF poll showing Charlie Crist ahead of Rick Scott in the 2014 governor's race, attorneys for same-sex couples pushing a federal judge o move forward with ending Florida's ban on gay marriage after the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear similar cases from other states, and the opening Jacksonville's first Nordstrom department store.
