In a little more than a month, tens of thousands of Florida students will return to their classrooms.

Northeast Florida School counties will all open by August 14:

  • St. Johns: August 10
  • Nassau: August 10
  • Baker: August 10
  • Flagler: August 10
  • Duval: August 13
  • Clay: August 14
  • Putnam: August 14

Nineteen Florida school districts will resume class on August 10 and another 40 will open by August 13, according to the State Department of Education’s 2018-2019 school district calendar.
The earliest return date for Florida teachers is August 1.

All Florida Schools will start on or before August 20, well before Labor Day on September 3.

School districts that start their year early, have scheduled sooner ending dates accordingly.
