One of the most famous landmarks along King Street in St. Augustine is Flagler College.

The city of St. Augustine has extended the deadline for people to take an online survey about what a major thoroughfare into the city, King Street, should look like.

Planners are asking residents, visitors and business owners to weigh-in on proposed design standards for privately owned properties on King from Flagler College west to the city limits.

One of the survey questions asks if the street should be considered more of a gateway into the city…or a destination in its own right.

The questionnaire is on the city of St. Augustine’s website.  The deadline to take it is this Friday, September 21.
