Utah-Based Noah’s Event Venue Plans Its Northeast Florida Location On Jacksonville's Southside

Via the Daily Record
The Noah’s Event Venue in Memphis, Tennessee. The chain is planning a location near St. Johns Town Center at Southside Quarter along Gate Parkway.";

Noah’s Event Venue, a nationwide company with more than 40 locations rented for weddings, meetings and other occasions, chose Southside Quarter for its entry into Northeast Florida.

Noah’s, based in Lehi, Utah, also rents space for expos, seminars, training, family events and other opportunities to convene or celebrate, according to our Daily Record news partner.

Event planners can bring in their chosen caterers, decorations and services.

The city issued a Conditional Capacity Availability Statement for an 8,181-square-foot building planned on 7.68 acres at Village Crossing Drive for Noah’s Event Venue. Plans show Noah’s will use about 1.38 acres of the site.

Southside Quarter is a Hines mixed-use project at southwest Butler Boulevard and Interstate 295. Apartments, single-family and townhomes and an office building are under development or announced.

The property owner is listed as S-15 Land Holdings LLC, part of Houston-based Hines, and the civil engineer is Jacksonville-based England-Thims & Miller Inc.

Event-space rental pricing depends on the location, but the noahseventvenue.com site shows that rental costs for the entire building on weekends for up to 250 guests range from about $5,500 to $8,200.

There also are smaller spaces, such as meeting rooms, a board room and small and main halls.

Prices are lower during weekday business hours. Space also is available after 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

Small meeting rooms are $289 for a weekday, for example. The small reception hall for up to 70 guests is $789 on a weekday, $1,789 on a weeknight for up to nine hours and $2,800 on weekends.

Noah’s says customers can customize their events.

Noah’s provides ceiling technology for lighting and fabric; tables, chairs, tablecloths, setup and take-down and other options; an audiovisual system; a prep kitchen; and more.

It offers an open-vendor policy that allows customers to bring in vendors and food.

However, it does provide a preferred bartender list if a customer plans to serve alcohol. Noah’s bartenders are required to serve and control all alcohol and, depending on the location, all alcohol must be bought through Noah’s.

A Noah’s representative was not immediately available for comment Tuesday.
