Riverside Wine Fest

Come raise a toast to the Riverside 14th annual Wine Fest hosted by Riverside Liquors. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at King Street District.There will be more than 300 wines, food trucks and live entertainment. The cost is $35 which includes a logoed wine glass in addition to the wine samples. Online ticket sales will close at noon Saturday. Proceeds from the event go to the Riverside Avondale Preservation.

Yoga Beach Cleanup

Namaste. A yoga beach cleanup will commence from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Oceanfront Park, hosted by the University of North Florida’s Environmental Center. Through yoga, the cleanup is promoting a healthy body and a healthy environment. The yoga session is about an hour. The instructor will be UNF alumni Kaki Bryan. Supplies for the clean up will be provided, but the center is asking participants to supply their own yoga mat, otherwise the event is free.

Red Bull Night Riders

The Red Bull Night Riders surf competition returns to Jacksonville Beach for the third straight year Saturday. The event features pro surfers competing under the moon and stars at the Jax Beach pier. The event begins at 8 p.m. and is free to the public.

Jax Illumination's 4th Annual Drive Thru Holiday Light Show in Jacksonville

Jax Illuminations is hosting its fourth annual Drive Thru Holiday Light Show from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday for opening night .There will be a more than a mile of lights to drive through and those 500,000 lights will synchronize to different holiday carols. Admission is $20 per vehicle. Each vehicle is allowed up to 7 people.

Bob Dylan

One of music’s most enduring and legendary acts comes to the Times-Union Center on Friday. Bob Dylan, pioneer of political folk music and recipient of this year’s Nobel Prize of Literature, will perform at 8 p.m. Tickets range in price from $58 to $89.
