Just in time for summer, a new youth entrepreneur website called KidenTrepreneur.biz is offering enterprise-minded children an opportunity to own, create and grow their own businesses.
"It's a business-in-a-box concept," says chief marketing spokesman John Prater. "We're trying to equip and encourage 10-17-year-olds to be entrepreneurs."
Prater says there are currently three business kits available to download: "The Main Squeeze" lemonade stand; "The Crate Escape" dog-walking business; and "Lawn Enforcement," a lawn care business.
Kits include business cards, flyers, invoice booklets, service agreements and signs.
"Most of today's successful entrepreneurial adults started as kids," said Prater. "These kits give today's generation a bit of a jump-start."
