The University Club on Jacksonville’s Southbank is closing this month after nearly 50 years of offering its members full-service dining with a spectacular skyline view.

Jacksonville’s Eastside is about to host its first public market, thanks to a partnership with the nonprofit Groundwork Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Public Market will be located on A. Philip Randolph Boulevard. Its goal, according to its website, is to connect food, culture and people.
