The Peach Cobbler Factory will bring a menu of cobblers, banana puddings and cinnamon rolls to its first Jacksonville-area restaurant at Ortega Park.

Move over decadent milkshakes. Make way for the cobbler.

In a trend we didn’t see coming, the cobbler — a name first used in the early 19th century but whose roots date back to Colonial America — is the latest dessert-focused restaurant concept.

And now it’s coming to Jacksonville.
