Jacksonville City Council has signed off on loans to renovate a historic building into the Lofts at Cathedral, a development of multi-income apartments in Downtown's Cathedral District.
Council voted 17-1 on Tuesday to approve forgivable and deferred principal loans for Vestcor’s proposed development at 325 E. Duval St. The funds will be awarded through the Downtown Investment Authority’s Downtown Preservation and Revitalization Program.
