Artist Shinique Smith
Shinique Smith recently unveiled her “Project Atrium” installation at the downtown Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville.
Her work includes sculptures consisting of bundles of tied clothing that hang in the 40-foot-high Atrium Gallery against a backdrop of painted calligraphy and a mirrored surface.
Shinique Smith joins us to discuss the exhibit.
