  Media Roundtable Week in Review

We discuss the week's biggest news stories with our roundtable of local journalists: Andrew Pantazi, Florida Times-Union reporter; Fred Matthews, Examiner blogger; Claire Goforth, Folio Weekly editor; and Tim Gibbons, Jacksonville Business Journal editor.

Topics include the results of Tuesday's presidential primaries, where Northeast Florida counties rank in a study of the healthiest counties in America, and more.

Artist Shinique Smith

Shinique Smith recently unveiled her “Project Atrium” installation at the downtown Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville.

Her work includes sculptures consisting of bundles of tied clothing that hang in the 40-foot-high Atrium Gallery against a backdrop of painted calligraphy and a mirrored surface.

Shinique Smith joins us to discuss the exhibit.

One Tank Media

In the first in a new series of segments exploring interesting places you can visit within 100 miles of Jacksonville, we learn about an attraction known as Chiappini's in Melrose, Florida.

The series is in partnership with the UNF student-run group One Tank Media. Jamie Swan, managing editor, and Kelsey Oates, assistant managing editor, join us.

Freedom Boat Club

And we speak with Freedom Boat Club CEO Lisa Almeida about the free boat training classes the club is offering.
