Jacksonville’s March 19 unitary election mayoral race between current Mayor Lenny Curry, City Councilwoman Anna Lopez Broscheand some lesser known candidates is drawing alot of attention.
But there is no Demcrat running in the race, which raises the question of what that says about Duval County, which went blue in the governor’s race.

Anti-Bullying play CHALK
BABS’ LAB, in partnership with the Florida Theatre, is presenting a special performance of the critically-acclaimed anti-bullying play CHALK, which was written by NPR’s own Al Letson. The show is funded by a PNC Arts Alive Grant, and is being performed for local students.
Producer and Director Barbara Colaciello of BABS’ LAB joined us to talk more about it.

Turntable Tuesday
Host David Luckin gave us a preview of tonight's Turntable Tuesday, which will air at 9 p.m. on 89.9 FM on the ElectroLounge. Luckin says vinyl is enjoying a resurgence. "It's not just songs, it's art," says Luckin. Tune in tonight to hear what "hot wax" he spins.
