Another Presidential Run Sign? Jeb Bush Resigns From Jacksonville Timber Co. Board

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has resigned from the board of a Jacksonville-based timber company. Bush appears to be preparing for a presidential run.

The Rayonier timber company announced Bush’s departure from its board of directors in a filingwith the SEC Monday. The company’s document says Bush expressed no disagreements with Rayonier or its employees in his resignation letter. He quit just before Christmas, and his last day with the company will be December 31.

As Bloomberg Politics first reported, Bush has also resigned his post as a senior advisor at Barclay’s bank. Both moves are thought to be indications he is planning to run for president in 2016. Bush himself announced his "thoughtful consideration" of a presidential run in a Facebook post last week.
