Ridesharing is gaining in popularity in major cities across the United States, including Jacksonville.

Services like Uber and Lyft are convenient and affordable — and taking off. But a question remains, are you covered by insurance when enjoying or providing these quick and cost-effective rides?

The business model is very different from that of a traditional taxi service, so there’s some information you need to know before you ride — or drive.
