It’s going to be a very busy Saturday around the Jacksonville sports complex. If you're planning to head downtown, there are a few things to keep in mind that could help minimize the stress. The gates at EverBank Field open at 4:30 p.m. for a 6 p.m. soccer match between Fulham and D.C. United.  That’s followed by the much awaited unveiling of the stadium's new super-sized video scoreboards and a concert by country music star Carrie Underwood.

Just down the street, The Jacksonville Sharks will take on Los Angeles in a 7 p.m. game at Veterans Memorial Arena.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the Main Street Bridge will be completely open to traffic from 4 p.m. onward Saturday. Bay Street will close to parking at 9 a.m. and at 3:30 p.m. three of Bay Street’s four lanes will be for eastbound traffic only. At 9 p.m. all traffic on Bay Street and Gator Bowl Boulevard will be directed away from EverBank Field.

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority’s Stadium Shuttle Service will run from 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon until an hour after the concert ends. Parking in the JTA lot at the Convention Center is free.  A round-trip stadium shuttle ticket will cost you $7.
