Keep your eyes on the skies the next few days as the Blue Angels practice at Naval Air Station Jacksonville on the Westside.

The Navy said the pilots need the practice sessions to maintain their proficiency since they won’t be performing at any air shows anytime soon.

The Navy canceled upcoming shows at military bases in the Southeast out of concern they could become coronavirus super-spreader events.

The Blue Angels’ practice sessions at NAS Jax will be closed to the public.

But if you look to the sky, you might still spot them as WJCT News did last May - see the video clip in this story -  as the Angels flew over Metropolitan Park and sports complex area.

They’re scheduled Wednesday to practice in Jacksonville through Friday, April 7, 8 and 9.?
