COVID-19 Vaccine Update; Holiday Scams; What's Good Wednesdays

Florida’s top public health official said Tuesday that five Florida hospitals, including UF Health Jacksonville, could receive COVID-19 vaccinations as early as next week.


Department of Health Secretary Scott Rivkees, who also serves as the state's surgeon general, gave the update during a statewide call with hospital administrators.

This news comes as the first people in the United Kingdom receive vaccinations for coronavirus, and some early reports of allergic reactions are popping up.

We spoke to Dr. Michael Koren of the Jacksonville Center for Clinical Research to get the latest on this vaccine news.
