Craft Beer Craze Comes To Jacksonville Zoo

Starting this weekend, Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens will offer what some might consider the best of both worlds: wild animals and craft beer.

The zoo is opening a beer garden on the banks of the Trout River it’s calling The Watering Hole.

The plan is to serve local craft beers on the weekends.

It launches Saturday during the Zoo’s Manatee Festival.

Bold City Brewery’s Mad Manatee IPA is on tap in honor of the zoo’s Manatee Critical Care Center where three manatees are currently being treated.
