DOCUMENT: Causevic Showed Signs Of Mental Stress Months Before Bomb Hoax

About eight months before Zeljko Causevic walked into Jacksonville International Airport and allegedly told security agents he was carrying a bomb that was later discovered to be a collection of random household electronics, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a call from Causevic that his wife was suicidal.

According to the police report obtained by WJCT news partner News4Jax, Causevic wasn't at home with his wife when he made the call.

Vesna Causevic told police there had been stress in their marriage and that she believed Zeljko was beginning to show signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from his time in Bosnia during that country's civil war.

The report is the latest piece of the puzzle in determining the motive for Zeljko Causevic to commit the bomb hoax he is being charged with. He is currently in custody with bail set at $1 million.
