Duval Schools Strive To Recruit And Retain Top Teachers With New Program

About half of all new teachers leave the field within five years. Duval County businesses and community groups are trying to find a solution.

They want to raise $50 million to help recruit — and then retain — good teachers in three-dozen low-performing schools.
