Encore: The Impact of Plastic on Wildlife

We're revisiting a conversation we had with Dr. Terry Root, she is a senior fellow emerita at the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University, and is also science advisor for the American Wind and Wildlife Institute. She was also a lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change 5th Assessment Report that in 2007 was co-awarded the Nobel Peace Prize with Vice President Al Gore.

Her research focus is addressing how plants and animals change as a result of the changing climate. We talked with her in advance of a presentation she gave at Congregational United Church in Punta Gorda called “Innocent Victims: Impact of Plastic on Wildlife.”
