"Jerusalem: A Cookbook" by Yotam Ottolegnhi and Sami Tamimi - With gorgeous photographs that make you drool, and written by a Palestinian and Israeli. So breaking bread together is the way to go!

"Paula Deen's Southern Cooking Bible" - These recipes capture the smells, tastes and love emanating from the kitchen of my Georgia neighbor. They don't call it comfort food for nothin'! I adore these butter-laden, savory dishes.

"Nom Nom Paleo: Food For Humans" by Michelle Tam and Henry Fong - Hands-down excellent. Fun. Fresh. This recommendation from a wonderful cook on the Westside. She actually uses all her cookbooks, unlike me. So you can trust Nom Nom.
