The beaches are still only for physical activity in Flagler County, but they will open 24/7.

Flagler County will reopen its beaches on Sunday, April 26, with some restrictions on allowed activities.

On Wednesday, all beaches in the county opened with time restrictions, and county officials said they would see whether the public could handle the rules of social distancing.

According to WJCT News partner News4Jax, beginning Sunday at 7 a.m., the beaches will be opened 24/7.

Still, the beach is open for physical activities only, including walking, biking, surfing, and fishing. Large group gatherings and socializing at the beach are not permitted.

Additionally, parks in Flagler County will be open from sunrise to sunset.

The Flagler Beach Boardwalk, Boardwalk bathrooms, city pier and parking in front of the Boardwalk will remain closed.
