Florida Announces License-Free Saltwater, Freshwater Fishing Dates To Lure Anglers

It’s time to get that fishing rod and tackle box down from the shelf in the garage.

This Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7, the state will waive the saltwater license-requirement for recreational fishermen.

And next weekend, June 13 and 14, the license-requirement will be waived for freshwater fishing.

Other regulations, like size and bag limits, will still apply, however.
