Florida Blue, a GuideWell company, is renovating the five-story Building 900 at its Deerwood Park campus at a cost of $4.6 million.
WJCT News partner theJacksonville Daily Recordreports it is the last of the insurer’s seven campus office structures to be upgraded at a total cost of at least $45 million.
Danis Builders LLC is the contractor for the project, which the city permitted June 18 at the 4800 Deerwood Campus Parkway.
“Building 900 concludes our campus renovations,” said spokesperson Toni Woods on June 21.
Plans show Florida Blue will upgrade mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as well as drywall, paint, carpet, flooring, casework and restrooms.
