Floridians who want to request a vote by mail ballot have until Wednesday to do so. Listen to the story!

The deadline for a person to request a ballot via the mail is Wednesday by 5 p.m.

But, a vote by mail ballot can still be picked up at the local supervisor of elections office until and on Election Day, which is August 28th.

To be counted, the local Supervisor of elections must receive the ballot no later than 7 p.m. that Tuesday.

According to the Florida Division of Elections website, more than one million Floridians have cast ballots—mostly by mail.
