FSU Men's Basketaball To Face Murray State In Second Round Of NCAA Tournament

The Florida State University men’s basketball team has advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. 

The Seminoles will see the tournament’s round of 32 this year after beating the Vermont University Catamounts 76-69 Thursday. Leading the ‘Noles in points was forward Mfiondu Kabengele with 21. Guard Terrence Mann scored 19 points and led the team in defensive rebounds with seven.

FSU, which entered the tournament as a four seed, will face the Murray State University Racers in the second round of tournament play on Friday.

Led by guard Ja Morant, Murray State pulled off a first-round upset of five-seed Marquette University.
