With nearly five months to go before the crowdfunding festival begins, One Spark is making major announcements for their third year in Jacksonville.

The second annual "World's Largest Crowdfunding Festival" made a massive impact earlier this year, drawing over 260,000 people to the city's urban core. 2014 also saw a successful satellite event in Berlin called One Spark START: Berlin. The organizers say they are upping the ante for 2015.

One Spark announced Tuesday that several high-profile names will take part in a speakers summit prior to the festival's opening ceremony. Headliners include FUBU founder and "Shark Tank" star Daymond John, Priceline.com founder Jeff Hoffman, and Eventbrite marketing vice president Tamara Mendehlson.

One Spark also recently debuted their new Creator Academy, a series of training courses designed to help participating creators continue to work towards their goals after the festival ends.

One Spark executive director Joe Sampson and One Spark Creator Academy director Al Emerick joined Melissa Ross to discuss what's ahead for the festival in 2015.

Creator registration begins December 1. Visit One Spark's website to learn more.
