The Florida Department of Transportation says crews will be working on the Hart Expressway Bridge overpass at Beach Boulevard that will necessitate two weeks of overnight traffic detours.
Those detours are scheduled from 7 p.m. in the evening until 6 a.m. starting Tuesday night and going to Friday, May 4.
The work includes the minor repair of expansion joints, drainage improvements and the replacement of bearing pads, which help distribute weight and movement.
Signs and message boards will direct vehicles around the construction.
The $1 million project is expected to be completed next spring.
