How And Where To Report Power Outages

Power outtages are expected to be widespread as Hurricane Michael begins making its way to the Florida Panhandle and Big Bend.  Report outages to your local utility.

Utility companies are reminding people to stay away from fallen and sagging power lines. They pose a threat even if they've not fallen, and if a line is sagging, stay away. Duke Energy says to consider trees, limbs and anything in contact with a pwer line as energzied. If a line has fallen on your car, don't get out. If life-threatening conditions exist, jump clear of the line and make sure no part of your body is touching the car.
