Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan and president Mark Lamping showed off some updated renderings of the pending renovations coming to EverBank Field during a pre-Super Bowl luncheon on Sunday.
Khan and Lamping reportedly also showed off a concept for a giant tarp-like dome cover for the stadium, but noted that it was only an idea at this stage.
City officials recently issued more than $57,500,000 worth of building permits to lay the foundation for new video scoreboards at the stadium. The screens will be among the largest of their kind in the world.
In November the Jacksonville City Council approved the $63 million improvement project, which will also include a water feature.
The team says construction should be completed in time for the 2014 season.
