TheCity of Jacksonville, The Elbowand many other organizations are working together to keep the party going long after the last act at Jazz Festhas stopped playing.
"A lot of fans come downtown for Jazz Fest but they didn't necessarily know where they could go afterwards for a drink or to hear some more live music," Downtown Vision Inc.'s Kat Hardwick says.
Organizers decided to create Jazz Fest After Darkto solve that problem and to showcase downtown Jacksonville's nightlife.
Jazz Fest After Dark is a 3-day, late night event in Jacksonville's downtown entertainment district, The Elbow. 1904 Music Hall,Burro Barand Underbelly, among others, will all feature live music every night of Jazz Fest. Jazz Fest After Dark starts at 10:00 PM and runs until 2:00 AM. It's free to everyone, and you must be 21 and up.
