JTA Partners With Uber To Offer Free Rides To Vaccine Sites In Jacksonville

Uber is giving free door-to-door rides to and from COVID-19 vaccination sites within 10 Jacksonville area ZIP codes as part of a new program with the Jacksonville Transportation Authority.

JTA’s Ride To Health initiative includes about 4,000 free rides subsidized by Uber.

Until September 30, all trips under $25 that are scheduled between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. to a COVID vaccination site will be free if they’re within these ZIP codes: 

  • 32202 - Downtown 
  • 32204 - LaVilla, Brooklyn, Mixontown, Riverside 
  • 32205 - Murray Hill, Avondale, etc. 
  • 32206 - Springfield, Eastside, Brentwood, Talleyrand, etc. 
  • 32208 - Panama Park, Ribault, etc. 
  • 32209 - Grand Park, College Gardens, New Town, Moncrief Park, etc. 
  • 32218 - Oceanway, Northside, etc. 
  • 32219 - Lincoln Villas, Northwest Jacksonville, etc. 
  • 32220 - Whitehouse, Bulls Bay, etc. 
  • 32254 - West Jacksonville, Commonwealth, Edgewood, etc. 

Claim a voucher for an Uber ride here. Residents must download the Uber app in order to redeem the voucher.
