Longtime Jacksonville Beach Restaurant Getting $1.4 Million Overhaul

Cruisers Grill in Jacksonville Beach will soon be undergoing a $1.4 million renovation.

The longtime restaurant at 319 23rd Avenue South will temporarily close by September 17 and reopen in early 2019.

“For nearly 25 years, Cruisers Grill has been privileged to serve the Jacksonville and Beaches communities. It has been our honor to host countless first dates, birthday parties and family celebrations in those years, and to provide jobs for thousands of our neighbors,” said Bobby Handmaker, owner of Cruisers Grill in an email to WJCT News.

Cruisers Grill will also use the opportunity to expand its menu but promises the favorites will remain.
