Longtime Utilities Attorney Weighs In On Florida Energy Choice Initiative

A proposed amendment to Florida’s constitution would deregulate and open up competition for investor-owned utility companies. This week, attorneys for the amendment’s backers faced tough questions from the Florida Supreme Court about its ballot language.

Brian Armstrong is an attorney who has decades of experience representing utilities, not only in Florida, but in New York and New Jersey.  He spoke with WFSU's Ryan Dailey about the proposed amendment, dubbed the Florida Energy Choice initiative.
