Missing Alert For Ocala Kids Canceled (UPDATED: 1:30 PM)

The two children authorities say went missing from Ocala on Friday have been located and are safe.A public information officer with the Ocala Police Department said Friday afternoon that the two children "arrived home safe and sound." The missing child alert issued Friday morning was canceled shortly before 12:30 p.m.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a missing child alert for two children missing from Ocala.

Five-year-old Lauren Rowe and 2-year-old Landyn Josiah Rowe were last seen in the area of the 300th block of Southwest 19th Avenue in Ocala, according to a release.

Lauren's hair is braided and she has a dark colored birthmark on her abdomen that is the size of a penny; Landyn Josiah Rowe has scars on his scalp.

The children may be in the company of Carneva Harrison Ashley, who has one brown eye, one glazed blue eye, and wears glasses. They may be traveling in a 2013, gray Chrysler 200, Florida tag number BPHU67.
