New Film 'American Made Movie' To Screen At Sun-Ray Cinema

Aug 2, 2013

The new film American Made Movie explores the decline in America’s manufacturing workforce.

The new doc "American Made Movie" explores the decline of American manufacturing jobs and what can be done to reverse the trend.

That decline has had a devastating effect on our economy, but it’s the stories of communities and families around this trend that reveal the harshest costs, say the filmmakers.

For many Americans it feels like in today’s global economy, no one is fighting for American jobs - especially manufacturing jobs.

American Made Movie is a riveting look at this issue. It screens at Jacksonville’s Sun Ray Cinema Saturday night, and one of its producers is a Jacksonville native.

"Whether you are an entrepreneur, student, stay-at-home mom or a senior citizen, you have the power to transform America’s future and be a part of the solution through thinking before buying and through the simple choices you make every day," says producer Nathaniel Thomas McGill.
