A single-engine Cessna crashed Tuesday at St. Augustine's airport.

A National Transportation Safety Board investigator is expected to arrive at the Northeast Florida Regional Airport in St. Augustine Wednesday to investigate a deadly plane crash.

WJCT News partner News4Jax reports the investigators will gather evidence and clues into what caused the single-engine Cessna to crash Tuesday afternoon, killing two people.

The Florida Aviation Administration confirms the plane belonged to Florida Flyers, a flight school based in St. Augustine. News4Jax was told the victims were an instructor and a 19-year-old student on their first lesson.
