There’s still room at this weekend’s ONE By ONE education convention for anyone interested in improving Jacksonville schools.
The fourth annual community conversation, hosted by the Jacksonville Public Education Fund, is on Saturday.
Fund President Trey Csar says the conversation will focus on the idea of education equity.
“We really look at equity through both a racial and a socio-economic lens,” he says.
Public school experts will speak on panels, and Duval Superintendent Nikolai Vitti will be on hand to answer questions.
At least 400 people had registered as of Thursday morning. The event starts Saturday at 9 .m. at the Lexington Hotel on Jacksonville’s Southbank.
