Florida ranks the third highest in the nation for human trafficking. During this year's legislative session, State Senator Lauren Book, D-Plantation, pushed for new lawestablishing a database of individuals convicted of soliciting prostitution or trafficking sex workers. It currently awaits Governor Ron DeSantis’ signature. Senator Book joined today’s program.

A new film called "The Terms of Us" follows the story of character Jose Garcia and his encounter with a homeless woman struggling with mental illness. The film is part of the 4th Annual Reel Minds Miami Mental Health Film Festival at the University of Miami. Roberto Sanchez, director of "The Term of Us" joined Sundial to talk about how his personal life experiences influenced most of the film.

The PORN NAIL$ Salon is a mobile pop-up nail salon that features a series of paintings and nail decor celebrating queer and feminine identity. The nail salon is part of NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale's one-day symposium called "A Sense of Pride: Visual Activists and New Identities." The event is meant to create conversations around issues within the LGBTQ and art community. The salon’s creator Rosemarie Romero joined Sundial to talk about how she uses nails to create art.
