Tallahassee’s e-scooter program will soon go from pilot to permanent. Officials held a meeting today to evaluate four e-scooter applicants to recommend for a full-fledged micro-mobility program.

Tallahassee first launched its e-scooter pilot program last July, and there have been some changes since then. Three of the original five vendors dropped out. Now, the city is looking to transition out of its pilot. The city is looking over proposals from four companies: Blue Duck Scooters, Bolt, Spin, and Veo. Staffers will recommend a top two for city commissioners to review at their September 9 meeting.
