The Jacksonville Jaguars have released Northeast Florida native and former Florida Gators standout quarterback Tim Tebow as a tight end, the Jaguars announced Tuesday.
Tebow had briefly been reunited with former Florida Head Coach Urban Meyer, who is now the Jaguars head coach.
Tebow took to Twitter to thank the Jaguars for the opportunity to try out.
Thank you to the @Jaguars organization and everyone who has supported me in this journey.
